PowerOn Variable Limit

PowerOn Pro

We have specfile variables over the 3000 limit. That limit of 3000 is still published in the Symitar eDocs. I ran a test and it seems the new limit is 6000. Can you verify and update your error “

Specfile exceeds PowerOn limit of 3000 combined variables/arrays/procedures” to reflect this new limit.

    Ahh interesting find, thanks for letting us know. Could you confirm that this is returned when you run validation? Or is this a diagnostic we have.

    If this is returning during validation, we actually just forward the message received by Symitar so if the new limit is 6000 but it reflects 3000, it’d be Symitar that hasn’t updated their message. If this is the case, we can still intercept.

    Also, would you mind sharing your PO so we can use it to reproduce on our side?

      This was a diagnostic where it started red underlining everything past the 3000th variable. As far as the code, I just used AI to create more than 3000 variables and pasted it into the define section.
